The staff were friendly, great buffet for breakfast. I had 3 rooms, room 1112, 1115 and 1116, the beds were very confortable in all of the.
Lack of maintenance in guest room, room 1116 door lock does not work well, you have to use your room card to close the room from outside. The hallway was very noisy at 2.00 am, check in was very slow. You should perhaps install a bumper at room attendent and bellman cart height to protect your hallways wall, something to trhink about in your next renovation project.
rooms were spacious, beds extremely comfortable. there is complimentary starbucks coffee in the room as well as the lobby in the morning.
mini bar fridge is meant to be used to keep things at room temperature rather than to cool things down. in order to get a refrigerator, one had to be requested from housekeeping and they were all out of them when we stayed here.
Convienience of th location. Great value for the money. Better deal with your dearch engine than going diect.
the big beds, scheets and pillows
you have 2 pay for everything. the tax is very high. when i orderd roomservervice they didnt have my choise anymore. then i wanted anything else bud they didnt have that too. no breakfast included.
The hotel is very tired. The restaurant facilities, although the food is excellent, are very expensive and limited. The hotel is tired and in need of an update Rooms hallways etc. Hotel is overpriced for what it is.
Staff was very helpful and super friendly at both check in and check out. Extended our check out time until 2pm without any extra charge.
Our stay was perfect. There is no other word to describe the incredible service we received from the entire staff. The room was lovely, spotless, and the bed was to die for! Having stayed there before and having a negative experience, we were somewhat apprehensive about a repeat visit but we wanted to stay in the same hotel as our family and we are so happy that we made that choice. It was the best hotel experience we have had in quite some time, and we definitely plan on staying there again. Thank you, Westin Edmonton, for making our stay so enjoyable.
Staff were amazingly friendly and it is close to coffee shops, etc.
Sauna was seperate for men/women. Pool was small.
Westin did not have my reservation on file even after 2 hours of using your website. It took 20 mins to check in after some confusion.
- Location was good - good view from higher rooms - price
- Very expensive restaurant. - temperature would not turn down lower than 17.0C - elevators were very slow for the size of the hotel. - no warning when someone complained of noise. Everyone just had to leave. - bed was uncomfortable - parking was inconvenient, with not much space for loading and unloading.
This hotel charges for everything - Internet is very expensive.
1) Downtown location 2) Room service available 24 hours 3) Quiet rooms
1) Long waiting time to check in. There are only 2 stations at the reception desk and the clerks take about 15 mins to check in each guest 2) Charges for almost everything - internet, breakfast, parking - the only thing "free" was the electricity 3) Lack of curb appeal - dirt and grime around the exterior of the building.
Hotel location. Very central and met our complete satisfaction
We did not have a pleasant experience. Upon arrival we did not recieve the room which we had booked and for which we had a confirmation number. We were told that the room was not available and the registration clerk was not interested nor had the time to resolve the problem. We had booked a Standard King Room but recieved 2 double beds. We were moved the next day to another room being told that a mistake had been made during booking. The next evening upon arrival at the hotel, a drunk was in the lobby and made some very inappropriate remarks to my companion. She was dressed in a very expensive mink coat and was very uncomfortable with the situation that developed. There was no conceierge at the door to intervene. When I arrived from parking our car she was upset and very nervous. That evening we were kept awake until 3 am because of a very loud party (?) in an adjoing room. Upon check out we were told that the police had to be called to the hotel because of the noise. I spent $541.00 for the 2 day visit, including parking,GST etc, and my charge for the Share Lounge of $69.33. The Westin Hotel has always had a very good reputation as a fine hotel but I will no longer recommend the hotel.
We were amazed that they charged extra for Wifi and TV...unless you chose to watch one channel.
It was clean and comfortable. Great location and breakfast.
That my internet connection in my room did not work
